ذكرت إحدى الصحف الأميركية أن الحرس الثوري الإيراني أرسل مئات الجنود والقادة إلى العاصمة دمشق لمساعدة الجيش النظامي السوري في معركته ضد الجيش السوري الحر، كما نقلت الصحيفة عن قائد قوات الحرس الثوري الإيراني الجنرال سالار أبنوش قوله أن قواتنا منخرطة في كل جانب من جوانب الحرب الدائرة في سورية، حيث شاركنا في القتال العسكري من جهة والصراع الثقافي والفكري من جهة أخرى، وذلك خلال خطاب ألقاه أمام متطوعين متدربين أمس الاثني
 
يواصل النظام مسلسل التفجيرات في محاولة منه لتشويه صورة معارضيه وشحن الحقد الطائفي في البلاد، حيث قام باتهام الجيش السوري الحر بالوقوف خلف التفجير الناجم عن سيارة مفخخة في منطقة جرمانا التي تقطنها الغالبية الدرزية في العاصمة دمشق والذي أدى إلى سقوط قرابة 27 شهيداً من الطائفة الدرزية
 
يأتي ذلك تزامناً مع استمرار الحملة العسكرية في العاصمة حيث سقط أكثر من 20 شهيداً في حي جوبر وحده، ثلاثة منهم مسيحيون تم إعدامهم ميدانياً. وقامت قوات النظام بقصف حيَّي القدم والتضامن ومدن وبلدات حرستا ومعضمية الشام وزملكا وكفربطنا وعربين وعين ترما وسقبا وحمورية والذيابية والسيدة زينب وحجيرة البلد وجسرين والسبينة مما أدى إلى سقوط عشرات القتلى والجرحى
 
شهدت بلدة كفرنبل في محافظة إدلب صباح اليوم قصفاً عنيفاً من الطائرات الحربية استهدف ساحة المظاهرات والمنازل المحيطة بها مما أدى إلى سقوط عشرات الشهداء والجرحى وإحداث أضرارٍ مادية جسيمة. كذلك سقط عشرات الشهداء والجرحى بسبب قصف مماثل استهدف مدن معرة مصرين وسهل الروج وقرى البشيرية وجوزف بمنطقة جبل الزاوية من نفس المحافظة

سقط قرابة 24 شهيداً خلال الحملة العسكرية التي شنتها قوات النظام في ريف حماة، تسعة منهم تم إعدامهم ميدانياً فيما قضى 14 آخرون خلال القصف العنيف بالطيران الحربي لقرى الشريعة وشهرناز والكريم في منطقة سهل الغاب، كذلك سقط شهداء وجرحى آخرون في القصف الذي استهدف مدن وبلدات اللطامنة وقلعة المضيق وقرى جبل شحشبو

كذلك واصل النظام حملاته العسكرية في مختلف أنحاء البلاد والتي خلفت عشرات الشهداء والجرحى فضلاً عن إجبار الآلاف من الأهالي على النزوح عن ديارهم بعد قصف حي الخالدية وأحياء حمص القديمة ومدن تلبيسة والرستن والقصير وقراها في محافظة حمص، وأحياء بستان الباشا والإذاعة والميسر والأحياء الشرقية وقرى وبلدات ومدن الريف الشمالي في محافظة حلب، وأحياء درعا البلد ودرعا المحطة في مدينة درعا ومدن وبلدات داعل ومعربة وبصرى الشام واليادودة وقرى اللجاة وتسيل وطفس وبصرى الشام والنجيح في محافظة درعا، ومعظم أحياء مدينة دير الزور ومدن البوكمال والميادين في محافظ دير الزور
 
وجه وزير العدل السوري وبناء على توجيهات مكتب الأمن القومي الذي يرأسه علي مملوك كتاباً إلى المحامي العام الأول بدمشق طلب فيه تحريك دعوى عامة بحق كل من رئيس الوزراء السابق المنشق رياض حجاب، ونائب الرئيس السابق المنشق عبد الحليم خدام، ورجل الأعمال فراس طلاس نجل وزير الدفاع السابق مصطفى طلاس، والسفير السوري في العراق المنشق نواف الشيخ فارس، والقائمة بالأعمال في السفارة السورية في قبرص المنشقة لمياء الحريري، والدكتور جورج يازجي، والفنانة مي سكاف والمعارض ميشيل كيلو والشيخ سارية الرفاعي. وذلك بتهم مختلفة تتراوح بين النيل من هيبة الدولة وإضعاف شعورها القومي وإثارة الفتن الطائفية ودعم الإرهاب وتمويله والاشتراك في مؤامرة ضد الدولة. وقد تصل عقوباتها بين السجن لخمس سنوات والإعدام
